Students at St Mary's learn from a team of professional and supportive teachers.
Our teachers are highly skilled and passionate about providing the best learning opportunities for every student. Our commitment to best teaching and learning practice is supported by an extensive professional development program for all staff.
St Mary's provides students with a high quality education that prepares them for their future.
It is the quality of our teachers that makes all the difference.

Our School leaders, teachers and support staff know what it takes to develop a love of learning.
They meet each student where they are on their learning journey, and challenge and support them to become the best learner they can be.

Our teachers are lifelong learners themselves
The majority of Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese teachers have more than five years of teaching experience and hold two or more professional qualifications. We invest in continuous staff training, through our own in-house professional learning programs, to coaching, to hosting guest speakers and sharing best practice with other school systems and industry partners.
We encourage personal development, with a significant number of our teachers holding a Masters Degree and many more in the process of obtaining additional qualifications. Our support staff are also very experienced with outstanding skills and in many cases, specialised training.
Religious Education Coordinator
St Mary’s is a faith-filled and welcoming community where every child is valued, respected and supported to grow spiritually, academically, and emotionally.
I feel truly blessed to be part of a school where faith is not just taught but lived each day. These relationships help create a deep sense of belonging and purpose, supporting each child’s journey in faith and learning.
Teacher Librarian
I feel privileged to work for a school that truly supports and values the importance of having a school library. As the Teacher Librarian at St. Mary's, I have the joy of watching young minds discover the magic of books.
Every day, I get to nurture their curiosity and foster a love for reading, all while creating a fun, welcoming, and beautiful space where they feel inspired to explore and learn.
Year 4 Teacher
Our school fosters a welcoming and faith-filled community where teachers thrive in a supportive, innovative environment. With strong professional development and modern facilities, staff inspire students to grow spiritually, academically, physically and socially every day.
St Mary’s Primary is a fulfilling and rewarding place to work! The staff are supportive, and there’s a real sense of community. The students are full of energy and always keen to learn, which makes the job really fun and exciting.
Year 2 Teacher
Our Catholic identity is not only celebrated but actively lived. Students are invited to encounter Jesus through prayer, meaningful liturgies and faith-in-action opportunities that connect the Gospel to everyday life.
Through the Encountering Jesus curriculum, they explore Scripture, the teachings of Jesus, and life’s big questions through engaging, inquiry-based learning. At St Mary’s, we work together to nurture the whole child—forming hearts and minds to become compassionate, confident individuals who make a positive difference in the world.
At St Mary's Primary School we encourage and celebrate each student’s spiritual, emotional and academic growth
